JUNE 27 AND 28TH, 2003
1962 Photo of the Bank of Montreal
This is a 1962 photo of the Bank of Montreal. Notice the roads! They were unfinished, no pavement, no curbs, trees etc. The fore front of the photo shows just a field/grassy area which would later become Villa Variety store, which was now beside the bank. The Bank of Montreal would double in size and occupy that space. In later years the Villa Variety store would later house The Flap Jack Shack and today is home to Lake Huron Windows and Doors.
